Did you know a newborn baby weighs seventeen bowel movements or that a whale's balls weigh 156 spider monkeys? You wouldn't without this gem of a website!

YOU BIPARTISAN HACK! And other accusatory tones

Welcome to my blog and whatnot, yeah yeah. The point of this is to share with you some fun timekillers and to talk about random stuff I discover on the internet. Really original, isn't it? I know. You may applaud my genius. Here we go.

I'm a big fan of typing games because in junior high I had the fastest typing speed in the school (112 WPM), so I'm constantly looking to improve upon my skills. I frown upon people who hunt and peck (I don't hunt. I just peck.) and who look at the keys. So here's a fun game called Fingerjig that chooses random words from a dictionary over over 70,000 words and displays them for your typing pleasure. There are different levels with different word complexities (and one level of solely letters) to help you improve your speed+accuracy.

As a former AP US Government & Politics student and a future Political Science major, I love this game. The basic premise is that you're a member of either of the major American political parties helping to gerrymander (draw the boundaries of) districts in your state in order to fulfill certain goals (gain more seats, create a district that's 65% minority population). It's a fun way to learn a difficult aspect of the American political system and a fantastic time killer, especially the last stage (especially difficult).
